1. Introduction SenseiOS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you enter into the SenseiOS application.

2. Data Collection and Storage SenseiOS operates as an offline-first application.

  • Local Storage: All data entered into the app (including student names, attendance records, grading history, and belt configurations) is stored locally on your device’s internal memory.
  • No Cloud Sync: We do not transmit, sync, or back up your data to any external server, cloud database, or third-party service.
  • No Tracking: We do not track your usage, location, or personal identity.

3. Sensitive Information The application allows you to input specific data regarding students, including:

  • Medical Information: (e.g., Allergies, Asthma, ADHD). This data is stored strictly on your device for your reference as an instructor. We have no access to this information.
  • Contact Details: Emergency contact numbers and student phone numbers are stored locally.

4. Device Permissions SenseiOS may request access to specific device features to function correctly:

  • Camera: Used solely to take photos of students for their profile picture within the app.
  • Photo Library: Used solely to allow you to select an existing photo for a student profile.
  • File Storage: Used to save CSV exports or backups to your device.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Because your data is stored locally:

  • Deletion: You may delete all data at any time by uninstalling the application from your device. Once the app is deleted, the data cannot be recovered by us.
